Tape Loop is made by Georges Daou. Your recordings belong to you.

In the app

Tape Loop processes audio on your device. Recordings, the current session and settings are saved locally. The app does not require an account and does not send your audio to a server. It contains no advertising or third party analytics.

Microphone and files

Microphone access is used to record audio when you choose to record. You can change that permission in your iPhone settings. Importing a file gives Tape Loop access to the audio you select. Exporting or sharing sends a copy only to the destination you choose.

On this website

This website has no analytics scripts, advertising or tracking cookies. Your appearance preference is saved in your browser. Cloudflare hosts the site and processes connection information, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect it. Its privacy policy describes that processing.

When you contact us

If you email hello@tapeloop.fr, your email address and message are used to read and respond to your request. Please avoid sending recordings or personal information you do not want to share.

Your choices

You can remove local app data by deleting the app. Files you have exported remain wherever you saved them. For questions about privacy or a message you sent, contact hello@tapeloop.fr.
